8 Week Sport Nutrition Programme.

Fueling for your sport isn’t just about what you eat on competition day, it is also about your regular eating pattern; the types and amount of food you eat; your pre-training and event nutrition; your recovery meals; supplement use; hydration and the timing of all of these. Our sport nutrition programme and guidance from our sport performance dietitian will help you develop a personalised approach to fuel for your sport and perform at your best.

This programme is designed to provide the foundations of sport nutrition which can be applied to you and your sport. The programme covers:

  • Nutrition to support gaining lean mass, strength and power;

  • Losing body fat while maintaining sport performance;

  • Fueling for optimal energy in training and events;

  • Nutrition for optimal recovery;

  • Hydration strategies.

You also have the option to add one on one nutrition appointments where we build on knowledge learnt from this course to create a personalised nutrition plan to meet your sport nutrition goals and unique requirements. In one on one sessions we can also focus on managing chronic or acute health conditions such as digestive issues alongside optimal sport performance and sport specific advice such as making making weight for weight-controlled or combat sports.

The 8 Week Sport Nutrition Programme includes:

  • An Initial 1 on 1 appointment (via Zoom or in-person)

  • 3 x 30 minute follow up appointments (via Zoom or in-person)

  • A personalised nutrition programme which includes a food and hydration plan, recipes and supplement advice

  • Access to our educational sport nutrition course hosted through our web-based learning portal

  • Regular food diary reviews from your dietitian

  • Nutrition tips, handouts and resources

Your appointments can be via zoom or in-person and work alongside the sport nutrition course to help you understand your unique nutrition requirements and the principles of sport nutrition.

To achieve optimal sport nutrition it is important to have tailored nutrition advice specific to you and your sport and based on the latest scientific research.

Our sport performance dietitian (Helen Ross) has worked with thousands of athletes from weekend warriors to elite and Olympic athletes. Helen continually upskills and completes ongoing study to ensure she stays up to date with the latest research in sport performance nutrition. Helen has completed post-graduate studies in sport nutrition and has extensive personal experience as an athlete. Helen is very aware of the time demands and busy lives athletes often have and can tailor your nutrition plan to ensure it is realistic for your lifestyle and schedule.

Purchase your Programme

Once you purchase the programme you will receive an email with instructions on how to access your client portal where you can book your appointments and access your online course. On completion of your initial appointment you will also be able to access your nutrition plan, recipes, personal nutrition recommendations and food and lifestyle journal (if applicable).

Complete the Online Personal History Form

Once you have purchased the plan you will also receive an online personal history form to complete and submit back to us. Please complete the form with as much information as you can. This is definitely a case of more is best - this will help Helen to prepare for your appointment. To get the most out of your initial appointment please ensure you complete this form at least 24 hours prior to your initial appointment.
