Do I need to fill out any paperwork prior to the initial appointment?

Yes!! This part is very important because without your personal history form we can’t prepare adequately for your initial appointment. This form will be emailed to you after you have booked your appointment and can be completed and submitted back to us. If you want to get the most out of your initial appointment make sure you fill in your personal history form at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Do you have zoom or telehealth appointments?

Yes! You can have your appointments either in-person or via telehealth. We use Practice Better as our telehealth/video-conferencing system. When your appointment is booked as a telehealth appointment you will automatically be sent an email with a link to join the session.

Will I get a meal plan?

Yes, if you would like one. Most of our clients choose to follow a meal plan but sometimes a meal plan is not recommended or you may choose not to have one. A meal plan is just one tool in a toolbox of strategies to achieve your nutrition goals.

Our meal plans are:

  • personalised to suit your food preferences, lifestyle, health and goals.

  • designed to teach positive eating habits that are sustainable

  • offer structure, but with choice and flexibility

  • include a variety of foods to avoid boredom

  • thorough and detailed, providing an educational component

  • provide guidelines, practical tips and strategies

  • allow for adjustments 

Will I have to follow a meal plan forever?

No, a meal plan is designed to teach positive eating habits that are sustainable, eventually requiring no need for the meal plan.

Can my friend and I come to appointments together?

For follow up appointments, yes! We have couples follow up appointments and a couples kickstart programme but you do not need to be a couple or living in the same house. For couples and friends, we recommend having your initial appointment on your own as this appointment is highly personalised and we cannot complete a full assessment and make recommendations for two people within one initial appointment.
